Q-Cells International GmbH is the project arm of Q-Cells SE. This wholly owned subsidiary offers its partners throughout the world a full range of services from project development and financing to the building and operation of large-scale photovoltaic arrays. Working with well known component manufacturers means Q-Cells International’s clients are assured quality and reliability.
Established in September 2007, by 2008 Q-Cells International had completed projects with an installed capacity of some 30MWp. Total installed capacity in 2009 is expected to reach around 150MWp. Q-Cells International has opened branches in Berlin, Rome, Lyon and Fremont (California), and has also launched a number of joint ventures with prestigious partners. Together with Q-Cells SE, Q-Cells International is working to harness the shared vision of permanently reducing the costs of photovoltaics and building up solar power as the energy source of the future. One of those to profit will be Q-Cells International’s partners, who are now being offered increasingly attractive opportunities to enter the world of power generation through photovoltaics.
