Anton Milner (Chief Executive Officer), one of the four founders of Q-Cells, is a member of the Executive Board. The three experienced managers Gerhard Rauter, Dr. Nedim Cen and Dr. Marko Schulz complete the team of executives.

Anton Milner
(born in 1961)Anton Milner, one of the four co-founders of the Company, has been Chairman of the Executive Board of Q-Cells SE since 2000. The native-born Englishman, is in charge of developing and implementing corporate strategy, he is responsible for Strategic Business Development and Public Relations. Before co-founding Q-Cells, the engineering graduate and MBA was employed as a Senior Engagement Manager for the management consultants, McKinsey. Previously he worked for Royal Dutch Shell, where he was involved in oil and gas trading, risk management and business analyses.
DR. NEDIM CEN
(born in 1965)Dr. Cen has been appointed as interim CFO to the Q-Cells SE Executive Board in June 2009. He holds a master's degree in mechanical engineering (Dipl.-Ing.) and business administration (Dipl.-Kfm) and was awarded a PhD. (Dr. oec.) from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. At Q-Cells Nedim is responsible for Finance, Controlling, Human Resources, IT, Process Consulting & Internal Audit, Tax and Legal as well as Investor Relations at group level. Before joining Alvarez & Marsal as Managing Director he has almost two decades of experience in management consultancy, investment banking and as CFO. In the course of his career Nedim Cen has worked for McKinsey & Company, Goldman Sachs, Dresdner Bank and Credit Suisse and served as CFO at KION Group.

Gerhard Rauter
(born in 1958)Gerhard Rauter – a native born Austrian – has been a member of the Q-Cells SE Executive Board since 2007. He heads the Crystalline Silicon Technologies division and is consequently responsible for the core operating business, the production and development of crystalline solar cells. In addition to actual production at the sites in Germany and Malaysia, his remit encompasses, Silicon Sourcing, Technology, Wafering & Crystallisation, Quality Management, Environment, Health & Safety, Business Management and Business Excellence. Prior to his appointment to the Q-Cells Executive Board, Rauter, as Vice President and Managing Director at Infineon Technologies Dresden GmbH & Co. OHG, was in charge of the Dresden facilities and their 2,350 employees from 2006 onwards. Since 1979, he had been working in managerial positions for Siemens AG. In 1999, he started working for Infineon Technologies AG, where he became Vice President Operation & Production in 2005.

Dr. Marko Schulz
(born in 1964)In April 2009, Dr. Marko Schulz was appointed to the Executive Board of Q-Cells SE as Head of the Marketing & Sales division. In this position, he is responsible for Market Development, Solar Cells & Thin Film Modules, Marketing, Volume Forecasting and Pricing, Finance & Administration and Systems. His portfolio also includes our sales organizations outside Germany, as well as Q-Cells Clean Sourcing GmbH and Q-Cells International GmbH, which Dr. Schulz has headed since 2007 as Managing Director. After graduating as a business administrator, he took an MBA and was awarded a doctorate from Berlin Technical University. He worked at BASF SE for several years and was involved in financing European energy projects there before joining McKinsey & Company. As a consultant, he managed projects in the energy and public sectors in Europe and the US before becoming a partner of the company in 2001.
